Description

1986 Ford E350, 460 V8, automatic, with a 3rd axle. 73,100 miles. Just smogged 05/29/08, tags paid til 04/09. Went to Calico in June, 180 mile roundtrip with no problems.

Chassis: Engine just had a tuneup, new plugs, new cap and rotor, oil change and filter, new thermostat and antifreeze, new hoses, transmission had fluid and filter change, new gear oil in the axle, new shocks, new sway arm bushings. 4 NEW drive tires ($537), 2 steer tires good, 2 tires on 3rd axle are so-so, spare good. Transmission has U.S. Gear underdrive unit on it, perfect for hills/ trailer, cruise control, trailer hitch, headers/ custom exhaust, dual fuel tanks, both have new fuel pumps and relay, chrome wheel covers, K&N air filter, all the lights work.

RV: sleeps 6, 2 over the cab, 2 on the dinette, 2 on the twin beds in back, NEW 7.5 cubic foot refrigerator ($1300), has solar fans to exhaust heat from fridge, new propane detector, 2 new vent covers, shower/ tub, 3 closets, microwave, stove, oven, sink, 50 gallon fresh water, approximately 40-50 gallon black water, approximately 40-50 gallon grey water, air conditioner, generator- 4.0, just serviced- new plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter, 2 NEW marine batteries, solar panel, no roof leaks, 30 gallon propane tank, has hydraulic levelers, fully self contained, originally cost $42k, this was, or near, the top of the line when new.

The bad: engine has a very small oil leak near the oil filter- doesnt leak very much, just annoying, power steering return hose leaks a little too, dash air conditioning doesn't work, don't know why, i just ran the generator and the roof air anyway. The 2 tires on the 3rd axle have weatherchecking on them, I wouldn't trust them for a long trip.

Ready to live in or almost ready for taking trips!!
